Ffilm Cymru Wales seeks new Chair of the Board
As we embrace the next chapter in the Ffilm Cymru Wales story, we are looking for an exceptional individual to lead the Board and senior team in support of our ambitions for film in Wales.
We are looking for a Chair with:
- experience, credibility and contacts in the industry
- a familiarity with the wider Welsh media landscape
- enthusiasm and the creative power to embrace the work ahead
- the ability to influence and advocate to decision makers and funders, supporting the long-term success of Ffilm Cymru Wales
- our shared values and passion to support a thriving bilingual film sector in Wales.
The Role
Role: Chair
Location: Cardiff/Flexible
Sector: Film
Time Commitment: 6-8 Board meetings a year plus additional ad-hoc meetings and events on behalf of Ffilm Cymru Wales.
Salary: Non-renumerated, however expenses fulfilling duties will be reimbursed. Honorariums are also made available to Board directors who would otherwise not be able to take on these kinds of roles.
Length of Term: Three years (maximum two terms, subject to agreement)
Start Date: Autumn 2024
