Emily's role is to liaise with talent and filmmakers in relation to our Continued Professional Development (CPD) arrangements, acting as a liaison between the production department and talent agents, making contracts, managing calendars, and overseeing events and projects from start to finish alongside our Talent Development Manager.
Emily Morus-Jones is a Welsh Writer, Director, Puppeteer and Puppet Maker for film, TV, theatre and live events. Emily began performing puppets on the BBC/Sesame Workshop production of The Furchester Hotel and has trained at the Curious School of Puppetry. Since then she has performed on numerous high-profile productions, advertising campaigns, working with several high profile clients such as Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa, Iron Maiden, Jam Baxter & Rag’N’Bone Man as well as shows for CBBC, Sky1, Channel 4, Netflix, and ITV. Her first short film Diomysus: More than Monogamy, which was funded as part of the Ffilm Cymru Wales / BBC Cymru Wales first-time filmmaker scheme Ffolio, was broadcast on BBC3, Film Four and Channel 4, won 12 awards internationally and was nominated for BAFTA Breakthrough at the 2023 BAFTA Cymru awards. Emily believes passionately in the use of creatures, puppets, monsters, and practical FX as storytelling tools in film and is committed to creating new and exciting worlds within which to explain the human condition.
