The Beacons Short Film Fund is run annually by Ffilm Cymru and supported by BFI NETWORK with funding from the National Lottery. It supports the development and production of world-class shorts from filmmakers born or based in Wales.
There will be tips on what we are looking for in a Beacons application and how to make yours stand out, followed by a Q&A.
Beacons provides funding as well as creative and practical support, training and mentoring opportunities to help filmmakers advance their careers. Short films produced through the scheme have achieved success at festivals, won numerous awards and have been broadcast on BBC and C4. Find out more about Beacons here.
