Ffilm Cymru & BFI NETWORK Shorts Showcase + Networking

Ffilm Cymru Wales & BFI NETWORK Wales, in partnership with Bangor University & Pontio, invite you to join us for a free showcase of short films with a connection to north Wales, followed by an opportunity to meet and chat with other filmmakers, with drinks and nibbles provided.

As part of the showcase at Pontio Arts Centre, there will be a Q&A with the filmmakers hosted by Stephanie Steventon, Lecturer in Film & Media Production at Bangor University.

If you’re a writer, director or producer aspiring to make your first industry-funded short film, or studying or working in film and media, this is a great chance to connect with the BFI NETWORK Wales team and with other filmmakers, as well as finding out more about different opportunities.

Jelly

Ireland 1778. Sally and Eleanor flout convention and scandalise society to escape the fate their families have planned for them. They elope.
Inspired by the true story of the legendary ‘Ladies of Llangollen.’
