The Magic Lantern, Tywyn

The Magic Lantern has been here since 1893. They may be steeped in cinema history, but nowadays they are totally state of the art, with an awesome Sony 4K (3D) digital projection system with Dolby 7.1 surround sound - that's about the best equipment any cinema could wish for! They also have a fully stocked bar and two stages for live events.

Their packed programme includes Live streaming from the RSC and National Theatre, live comedy, and live music.
