We're Still Here
In 2017 we collaborated with National Theatre Wales to produce a programme of film education to accompany their show We’re Still Here, capturing and amplifying their work and the community’s stories.
The dynamic piece of site-specific theatre that ran through September 2017 focused on the threatened Port Talbot steel industry and celebrated the unique spirit of the town. Three films were produced with members of the local community, including groups such as Tai Tarian Housing Association, DEWIS Housing and Neath Port Talbot College, providing an opportunity to learn practical filmmaking skills and to share their stories through poetry, theatre and film.
