Siobhan Lynn Brennan

Development Executive
Siobhan works across the Development Slate, developing live-action, documentary, and animated feature films for cinema audiences led by Wales born or based writers, directors, and producers.
Prior to joining Ffilm Cymru Wales in 2020, Siobhan worked as a freelance theatre director, facilitator and script reader specialising in new writing. She has worked with companies including Sherman Theatre, National Theatre Wales, The Other Room, Theatr Clwyd, Theatre Uncut, English Touring Theatre, British Council and Chapter Arts Centre. She was a member of the JMK Director’s programme funded by the Carne Trust. She has an MA in English Literature from the University of Warwick.
At Ffilm Cymru Wales, she has served as Executive Producer on BFI Network & Shared Prosperity funded short film Rebels and Renaissance. Siobhan has designed and delivered skills and training programmes, working in communities across Wales to increase socio-economic inclusion in the screen industries. She has supported trainees on set for productions such as Save the Cinema (Sky), Willow (Disney), and a number of BFI Network short films. Siobhan is a fluent Welsh speaker.
Siobhan now works across the Development slate to support Welsh filmmakers developing feature films in English and Welsh.
