Education

Ffilm Cymru funded education projects that inspired people across Wales to understand, explore and create film. These funded projects were often the first steps for participants in learning how to deconstruct and create film, exploring how it can be used as tool to interpret the world around us and gaining skills to create their own work.

People with learning disabilities joined members of Hijinx Academy led by Ben Ewart-Dean to turn their personal stories into a short film they could share with everyone.

Filming Futures

ProMo-Cymru’s project listened carefully to their participants and created filmmaking workshops equipping young people in Riverside with the skills they wanted and needed to produce their own films.

Iris Education is a project funded by Ffilm Cymru Wales which allows the Iris team to work with pupils from schools across Wales to tackle homophobic bullying.

Ffilm Cymru produced a digital education resource for The Machine as part of 'Film Industries: from Wales to Hollywood,' the WJEC's Key Stage 5 Media Studies curriculum.
