Film Exhibitors Coffee Morning - Virtual Screenings Edition
In this extended edition of our Film Exhibitors Coffee Morning we will be talking about all things online screenings, so whether you are thinking about providing for an audience online while closed or looking to expand on your online offer we would love for you to join us.
To help us tackle the subject, we have asked three exhibitors to share their experiences of working online over the last 10 months.
Ellys Donovan (Cardiff Animation Festival) will be talking us through the resource their team have created exploring their decisions around moving online with Cardiff Animation Nights and Festival very early in the pandemic.
Gareth Bailey (Abertoir Festival/Aberystwyth Arts Centre) will be discussing their use of Eventive when moving their festival online in October 2020.
Claire Vaughan (Reframed Film/Chapter) will be talking about her work to help audiences access films from home while venues are closed, engaging in watchalongs and how to identify content.
We will also be opening the discussion to you, allowing time to ask questions, share experiences and troubleshoot online screening issues with other exhibitors alongside our usual coffee morning updates from the sector.
As with all of our Exhibitor Coffee Mornings, this event is open to all people involved in Film Exhibition in Wales. So, if you are a cinema, pop up, community cinema or festival, regardless of your Ffilm Cymru funding status, we would like to hear from you.
