Ffolio

Next Deadline: 12 March 2021

Ffolio is an exciting partnership between Ffilm Cymru, BBC Wales, BBC Arts and the Arts Council of Wales.

It is a not-for-profit training and development program that comes with mentoring and BBC commissioning opportunities. It is for creative talent living in Wales without professional experience in audio or film production.

If you’re a dancer, blogger, musician, writer, photographer, graffiti artist, games designer, puppeteer, circus performer, animator or are professionally creative in any form, we want to hear from you.

Ffolio 2021: Audio

For the first Ffolio round of 2021, we have shifted the focus to audio, and are looking for fresh, unique projects.

Your idea can be funny, serious, provocative, or experimental, but it should have something to say to your audience. It should get people talking and sharing online. It might include documentary, scripted drama, or a mix of different artistic forms. We want you to push boundaries, through story, sound, and structure.

Your idea should  be between 3 and 15 minutes, or episodic content up to a total of 15 minutes, as long as it can be made for the budget of £4,000.

If selected, you’ll receive training, bespoke support to develop your audio project idea and access to bursaries for costs such as travel, childcare or an interpreter.

A new round of Ffolio for films will open later this year.
