Full programme unveiled for the Iris Prize Festival 2014

A young man, in a woman’s dress, wielding a Samurai’s sword hotly pursued by the young village police man, who is clearly out of his depth, is just one of the many stories celebrated by the 8th Iris Prize Festival. The five day LGBT film festival boasts a bigger than usual programme with 17 feature films.

NET.WORK@LFF gives emerging UK filmmakers an international platform

15 filmmakers from across the UK will be given the opportunity to take part in NET.WORK@LFF, an internationally-focused development programme managed and delivered by Creative England on behalf of the BFI, the BFI London Film Festival and other NET.WORK partners.

30 films announced for the Iris Prize Festival 2014

Organisers of the Iris Prize, supported by The Michael Bishop Foundation have today (11/08/2014) announced the 30 films competing for the £25,000 prize, which continues to be the world’s largest international gay and lesbian short film prize.
