BFI appoints Deborah Williams as Diversity Manager

LONDON – Monday 27 April 2015: The BFI today announces the appointment of Deborah Williams to the new role of Diversity Manager.   
Deborah commences her role at the BFI on 1 June to help push forward the BFI’s diversity agenda and augment the Three Ticks initiative across all BFI funding activities. Joining the BFI from Arts Council England (ACE) where she was Senior Officer, Policy and Research, Equality and Diversity, Deborah will sit within the BFI Film Fund team and report directly to Film Fund Director, Ben Roberts.

Snowden doc leads HowTheLightGetsIn film line-up





The world’s largest philosophy and music festival is back. HowTheLightGetsIn returns to Hay-on-Wye to explore the festival theme: Fantasy and Reality. The festival is famed for bringing together thought-provoking debate with legendary parties. And this year there’ll be a whole new festival site with all day entertainment for everyone, including music, babaret, circus, vintage rides, and a fayre.

Dark Horse: Welsh Premiere Announced

Sundance Award winner Dark Horse: The Incredible True Story Of Dream Alliance will be launching in cinemas across Wales with a special live satellite premiere event from Blackwood, where the film is set and was primarily shot, on Tuesday 14th April, and will then go on general release from 17th April. Tickets for participating cinemas are now available for pre-booking.
