There will also be a special event for all ages with a screening of The Dark Crystal in the Masonic Hall, featuring a Q+A with Toby Philpott, a puppeteer in the film who has is also most famously known for being half of Jabba the Hutt.

If that wasn’t enough for you, new and emerging filmmakers can take part in the Pitch Your Film competition, where they can win up to £6,000 in prizes.

Tickets are available online, or via the box office at Kong’s Cardiff during the festival.
