See Last Summer in Welsh cinemas

Jon Jones’ coming-of-age drama is released on 7th June.

A powerful coming-of-age film set in rural Wales during a long hot summer in the 1970s, Last Summer follows four young boys as they roam free through a neglected rural paradise, until a tragedy strikes that sets them against the adult world and changes their lives forever.

The feature debut of Welsh writer-director Jon Jones, Last Summer stars Richard Harrington, Nia Roberts, Steffan Rhodri and Noa Thomas, and was shot on location in west Wales. Katherine Lannon and Cerise Hallam Larkin produced the film, which was funded by Ffilm Cymru.
