Arts Council of Wales Open Consultation

Arts Council of Wales has opened a three month consultation on its future strategy for distributing funds from the National Lottery.

The outcomes of the consultation will determine the way in which the Arts Council distributes the funds it receives from the sale of National Lottery tickets for the next five years.

As the Arts Council of Wales’ delegate for film, Ffilm Cymru Wales distributes National Lottery funding to support:

  • Emerging and established Welsh filmmakers to develop and produce films
  • Education projects to inspire learning through film
  • Independent cinemas, festivals and community screenings to offer a broader choice of films to audiences across Wales.

Individuals and organisations are now invited to have their say, and we want to hear from everyone, regardless of background or connection to the Welsh arts sector. Whether you’re a filmmaker, a participant in a film education project, or have simply seen a film at an independent cinema or festival, you can help shape the future of National Lottery funding distribution in Wales.
