Angharad Evans

Angharad has worked as a commercial/IP lawyer for 19 years advising film and television business of all sizes from start-ups to internationally recognised brands. Angharad has advised on copyright, chain of title, financing, tax credit lending, distribution, multi-party financing and co-productions. Whilst a member of the Film and Media team at SJ Berwin, London she worked on complex rights agreements and multi-party financing arrangements before returning to Wales.

Angharad was, until recently, Head of Legal and Business Affairs at S4C where she was responsible for all legal and business arrangements for the channel including a wide variety of rights, commercial, IP, data protection, distribution and partnership arrangements. Angharad now works as a freelance legal/business advisor and training provider working mainly in the creative industries in Wales and London. Angharad prides herself on being an approachable and attentive listener, providing clear and practical advice.
