Head of Production

Kim heads up Ffilm Cymru's Development, Production and Skills department as well as playing a key role in the company’s commitment to diversity and inclusion. This activity includes our award-winning socio-economic inclusion programme Foot in the Door and our ‘Magnifier’ programme supporting audience-testing, iteration and complementary IP development for films on our slates.

Kim manages the BFI NETWORK Wales, development, production and skills personnel, providing them with strategic and business affairs support on the projects they are working on. She shares exec producer responsibilities for our funded productions with the company’s Production Executive.

Kim was formerly the Head of Acquisitions at documentary sales agent and distributor Mercury Media and before that the Head of Acquisitions at Journeyman Pictures. She set up VOD platforms for both these companies, partnering with The Guardian and The Independent and bringing works such as Ken Loach’s back catalogue online. Her producing credits include Claude Lanzmann: Spectres of the Shoah which was Grierson, Cinema Eye Honors, IDA and Oscar-nominated in 2016.

Kimberley hails from North Wales and has an MA in English Language and Literature from Oxford University. She is a former BAFTA Cymru Committee Member and a regular delegate at international film festivals such as Cannes & Berlin.
