Entering the industry through sales and distribution when digital release was still in its infancy, Kimberley quickly embraced new media and challenged the industry binaries of the time. As Head of Acquisitions at Journeyman Pictures, she helped to build their YouTube channel to Top Ten subscribed channel status and brought Ken Loach's back catalogue online for the first time. As Head of Acquisitions and Development at feature documentary distributor Mercury Media, Kimberley secured EU Media funding to build Joining The Docs - the world's first SVOD platform for documentaries - convincing The Independent to bundle subscription with their own new subscription model and encouraging filmmakers to start building their audiences online. Having worked with filmmakers of the calibre of Kim Longinotto, Franny Armstrong and James Moll, Kimberley turned her hand to creative producing. Her most recent project Claude Lanzmann: Spectres of the Shoah was Grierson, Cinema Eye Honors, IDA and Oscar-nominated in 2016.
As Head of Creative Business at Ffilm Cymru Wales, Kimberley leads on the strategy for the talent department, which has the Magnifier mindset of capitalising on the value of filmmaking across different IP, at its heart. As such, she oversees talent events and funding awards, and looks towards the future of Ffilm Cymru Wales as a challenger brand.
